House of Mózaic ("House of Mózaic," "we," "us," or "our"), operated by 1583864 B.C. LTD., respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It applies to houseofmozaic.com (the "Site") and to our email and SMS marketing programs.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide to us:

  • Contact details such as your name, email address, mobile phone number, and shipping and billing addresses.
  • Order and transaction information when you make a purchase.
  • Any information you provide when you fill out a form, subscribe to our marketing, or contact customer support.

Marketing sign-up information: When you subscribe through our on-site sign-up form, we collect the email address and/or mobile phone number you provide, together with a record of your consent (including the date, time, and the language you agreed to).

Information collected automatically: Device and browser type, IP address, pages viewed, and similar usage data, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 5).

Information from service providers: Order, payment, and shipping status information from the providers that help us operate the store.

We collect only the information we need to operate our store and, where you have opted in, to send you marketing.

2. Email and SMS marketing — how consent works

Subscribing to our email or SMS marketing is entirely optional and separate from making a purchase or creating an account. You can browse the Site, check out, and place an order without ever subscribing, and making a purchase does not automatically enroll you in marketing.

You are added to our marketing lists only when you actively opt in — for example, by entering your email address or mobile number in our sign-up form and agreeing to receive messages from us. At the point of sign-up we show you the program terms and a link to this Privacy Policy before you consent.

SMS program terms:

  • By opting in, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing text messages from House of Mózaic at the mobile number you provide. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.
  • Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe, or reply HELP for help.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

We collect your mobile opt-in information and consent solely to operate our own program. We do not share your mobile opt-in data or consent with any third party for their own marketing.

3. How we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • Fulfill and deliver your orders, process payments, and provide customer support.
  • Send you transactional messages such as order confirmations and shipping updates.
  • With your consent, send you marketing emails and texts about product drops, new releases, and offers.
  • Operate, secure, personalize, and improve the Site.
  • Provide analytics and advertising (see Section 5).
  • Comply with our legal obligations and enforce our terms.

4. Who we share your information with

We share personal information only with the service providers that help us run our business, and only so they can perform services for us under contracts that restrict how they may use it. These include:

  • Shopify — our e-commerce platform, website hosting, and checkout.
  • Klaviyo — delivery of our email and SMS marketing.
  • Payment processors (Shopify Payments / Stripe) — to process payments securely.
  • Shipping and fulfillment partners — our third-party logistics (3PL) provider and shipping carriers (e.g., DHL) — to fulfill and deliver your orders.
  • Analytics and security providers — to help us operate and protect the Site.

We do not sell your email address or mobile phone number, and we do not rent, trade, or share our marketing contact list with other brands or advertisers, nor do we send marketing messages on behalf of any third party.

We may also disclose information where required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

5. Cookies, analytics, and targeted advertising

We use cookies and similar technologies for site functionality, analytics, and advertising. We and our advertising partners may use these technologies to show you more relevant ads on other websites and platforms.

Under certain U.S. state privacy laws, this kind of data sharing for targeted advertising may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. This applies to website and cookie data used for advertising — it does not apply to your email or SMS subscriber contact information, which we keep for our own use only.

You can opt out of this activity through our Your Privacy Choices page and by using a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal in your browser.

6. Your rights and choices

  • Email: Unsubscribe at any time using the link in the footer of any marketing email.
  • SMS: Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for assistance.
  • Targeted advertising / "Do Not Sell or Share": Use our Your Privacy Choices page or enable a GPC signal.
  • Access, correction, deletion, and portability: Depending on where you live (including California and other U.S. states, Canada, and the EU/UK), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at contact@houseofmozaic.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
  • Canadian residents (CASL): We send commercial electronic messages only with your consent and always provide a way to unsubscribe.

7. Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Marketing information is retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion, subject to any legal requirements.

8. International data transfers

We are based in Canada and use service providers — including Shopify, Klaviyo, and a U.S.-based fulfillment provider — that may store and process your information in the United States and other countries. We take steps to ensure your information is protected consistent with this Policy wherever it is processed.

9. Children's privacy

Our Site and products are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision, and any material changes will be posted on this page.
